Nestled in the heart of New Zealand's Premier Winter Sports Resort, the Queenstown Ice Skating Club (QISC) is a hive of activity for our entire community. 

Kiwi skaters are encouraged to participate in a fun environment whilst making friends & learning new skills.  Whereas the Development squad are defining their commitment and refining their skills- perhaps ready for next year's competitions! 

We have two coaches Rochelle Scott from England and Lizbeth Wilson from the USA, who ensure both on-ice and off-ice training for our core of competitive skaters. Each year our members have been chosen to proudly represent us at National competitions. QISC this year will also be expanding to include synchronized skating from both our development and competitive squads. This is an exciting new venture and anybody - young or old is encouraged to join us! 

We are developing an overseas exchange programme with North America and Australia.

With a season from April to October each year, our club competes competitively, arranges ice shows and has a strong sense of community involvement. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
